My blogs are mostly inspired by the constantly asked questions. I was recently asked if meditation can be introduced to a 5-year-old kid? To that, my answer was yes, we should introduce meditation to our kids from the age of 3: right before the child is ready to sleep, play some calming music or guide them into mediation via imagery or storytelling, with one or two characters, and treat their subconscious mind with positive and calming thoughts. This will help them attain deep focus and calmness from a young age.  (I will attach some guided meditation soon for kids and adults to this website, feel free to download them.)

In today’s world, meditation is the most effective and amazing tool. If practiced correctly, it can help us to remain calm, peaceful, and mindful enough to handle environmental stress and challenges. Meditation aligns our mind, body, and soul like pearls in a thread.  It’s not about sitting quietly in a corner and doing nothing for the next 20 to 30 mins, it is a process that takes place with the help of a deep breathing technique.  Some people use Mantra Recitation to focus, whereas some of us listen to guided meditation to relax and take a deep breath.

For some meditation works great in a sitting position, for some it is walking and for others, it could be lying down. Find out what works for you and practice it to attain deep focus, calmness, and mindfulness. Meditation can be done at any time of the day, there are no rigid rules attached to its practice.
